This is my why
My Story.
My path to becoming an End-of-Life Doula came from one of the most painful chapters of my own life—losing my husband, Dave, and weeks later, my dad. Sitting beside the people I loved as life changed in ways I couldn't fix taught me that the greatest gift we can give another isn't an answer, but our presence: holding a hand, listening, protecting the quiet, and simply being willing to stay.
Even in the midst of dying and grief, I discovered there can still be tenderness, dignity, and peace—and that experience gave me a deep calling to walk beside others during this vulnerable part of life, offering compassion, comfort, and the reassurance that they don't have to navigate it alone. I can't take away the difficulty of saying goodbye, but I can help create space for love and meaning along the way. Sometimes we can't make it better—we can simply be there, and love them all the way through.
Leading you through
your Story.
You don't have to carry this alone. Grief deserves its own space—room to fall apart, to sit in silence, to feel everything without having to explain it or hold it together for anyone else. Right now, your energy belongs somewhere else: with the person you love, in the time you have left together, in the moments that matter most.
You shouldn't have to also be the one managing logistics, keeping everyone calm, or making sure your partner is cared for while no one is caring for you. That's not a job you should have to do alone. I'm here to hold that space for you—to be present so you can simply be present with them. You deserve to be held through this too. Let me take care of the things that pull you away, so all your love can stay exactly where it belongs.

What is your core philosophy regarding death and dying?
Death isn't something that is beautiful, but it is beautiful to see the soul move on to the next.
How do you support the family and caregivers?
I assure that the family feels the space to grieve and that they can focus just on the connection and end of life story with their loved one.
How do you integrate with hospice or medical teams?
I provide non-medical support, which allows them to focus on wellness while I take care of their wellbeing.
Can Death Doulas help with funeral preperations?
Absolutely. I grew up in a mortuary, and love talking about options availible to remember your loved ones.
